MAD CHEESE

Mad Cheese is the passion project of Heather and Reggie Donaldson, a dynamic duo who turned a simple vegan experiment into one of Cincinnati’s most exciting plant-based food ventures. From their home kitchen in Madisonville, Heather began crafting rich, complex vegan cheeses that quickly gained a devoted following. What started as a few samples for friends blossomed into a buzz-worthy brand known for its bold flavors and artisan quality. Mad Cheese proves that plant-based can be indulgent, unforgettable, and downright incredbile.

RICHLIFE FARMS

Rich Life Farm & Fungi is the heart and hustle of Emalee and Pete Richman, with one focus: to grow real food that brings people together. From their small farm in New Richmond, Ohio, they’ve turned a love for fungi into a thriving operation, harvesting over 500 pounds of gourmet mushrooms each week—everything from Lion’s Mane to Shiitake and Chestnut. Over the last five years they grown their mission to nourish their community, support local restaurants and markets, and make sustainable farming a way of life.

WEISENBERGER MILL

Weisenberger Mill has been family-run since 1865, with six generations milling grain along South Elkhorn Creek in Midway, Kentucky. Today, Mac and Phil Weisenberger carry on the tradition, using local, non-GMO grains to produce flours, cornmeals, and baking mixes with unbeatable flavor and consistency. Still stone grinding grain, their products are a staple for chefs, bakers, and anyone who loves food made with care and craft. Over 150 years in, Weisenberger Mill remains a shining example of tradition done right.

OUR HARVEST CO-OP

Our Harvest Cooperative is a worker-owned farm and food hub rooted in Cincinnati’s College Hill neighborhood. Founded in 2012 as Co-op Cincy’s first cooperative and the nation’s first Mondragon-style union co-op, Our Harvest is on a mission to make fresh, local food accessible while honoring land and labor. They grow produce on their own farms and partner with over 20 local growers to supply restaurants, retailers, and families across the region. Through their Weekly Harvest Box program, community education, and fair-wage farm jobs, Our Harvest is building a more just and resilient local food system—one veggie at a time.
